You can use on track to control the sequence start of other tracks and so do what you envision. Please see this video, where we show exactly what you asked:
https://youtu.be/BViPKIduS5k?t=574
For the setup/explanation it starts from here:
https://youtu.be/BViPKIduS5k?t=442

Info in the manual, about how to use the mode above, is on page 22 (Trigger Enable) and page 36 (Midi remote commands).

It’s a bit of a hassle to set it up and use it, but it can be done.

Forgive me I am brand new to this. As there are only 32 notes on the page, is there a way to play notes 1-8 of a pattern once, repeat 1-8, then play 9-16, repeat once, etc..? That is without using up 9-16 for the same notes. thank you in advance!

Hi there! Is it possible to change the key of the sequence while it runs? I would like to change it with my keyboard. If so, how can I achieve that? Best, Ron

hey guys I made a small bi-amp from the ground by using one LM3886 op-amp per channel. The power supply is based on a (way too large) 230VA toroid transformer. It took me about 32 hours to build the amp and power supply. I made the casings out of wood, because I’m more comfortable with woodworking than with metal. Besides that, I have a thing with clear lacquered birch plywood. I have a bookcase and a dressoir made from it and my daughter sleeps in an ubercool birch plywood bed. Powered them with the 1 toroid transformer with double secondary windings: at least 120 VA max output, 2x 12-18 Volt. I used a 230 VA 2x 18 V model, which is really too big for this amp (over 300VA is considered overkill for any amp, so I’m pretty close to that :-))
2x 10,000 uF / 35 V electrolytic capacitors
1x rectifier module KBU1005
1x Anti-interference filter for mains supply: Kemo nr. M41 (I only used it because I had it lying around. I would have left it out otherwise)
1x switch. I already had a very nice old model.
1x male power plug, Euro model. These plugs are also sold with an integrated power switch, like this one.
1x 3 Amp fuse with socket
1x 10mm red LED
1x 100 kOhm resistor to dim the LED

Also hooked up these bookshelf speakers.

Though I’m not very happy with the result. I’m confident that the wires and connections will not cause shorts, but boy, what a mess! If I ever make another amp, this is the part that I’ll want to do better.

What do you guys think?

Thanks for this tip William.

I just installed the full version ZAQuencer firmware in my BCR2000 only to find that one encoder was not functioning at all. I tried your Deoxit / Compressed Air tip and it fixed the problem.

Hi Florian,
yes I´m happy to tell you that there is indeed a shortcut.
When you are in the mixer menu you can hold “Mixer” Button and then press a track button. This will select the drumtrack from the mixer menu and you don´t have to leave it to select a track.
Hope this helps!

Cheers,
Christian

I have recently connected three drum machines to the Zaquencer for experimenting with layered percussion. A Drumbrute, a DD19 and a Volca Sample. I have chosen to give them individual tracks, and i have found out that it is possible to mute instruments on each individual track by leaving the mixer menu, select a track and then return to the mixer menu to mute the individual instruments. This is not an option for a performance, but that way you can at least preset a bunch of instruments to your liking and mute each drum track on its own if needed.

If i have missed a shortcut here please tell me

Cheers
