    how do I write global settings to memory so each time I turn on the BCR it starts in EXT-CLOCK mode and the tracks are not muted

    Hi dyLAB,
    you have to exit the Global Menu by hitting the “Global” button to write the Global params to flash. If you exit by “Exit” button they are not stored permanently (also see manual page 9).

    Please note that the track mutes are stored with each preset individually and not globally.

    Also note that the free Zaquencer demo (should you be using that) is not able to store any settings in flash, as part of the demo limitation.
