It would be useful to see the currently playing note for the currently selected track in the LED – and also to be able to hold a button and turn an encoder and have the stored note value display in the LED. The display format as per global note display mode.

The only way I’ve seen to query a stored note in a pattern is to be in note pitch and turn the encoder, but this is destructive as it changes the current value.

In drum mode, when setting the instrument note values, it would also be useful to be able to query these non-destructively too.
