    Hi,

    I purchased the Zaquencer recently. As I’m not yet equiped with enough hardware, I planned to start using it to sequence differents instruments/tracks into Bitwig Studio, but I can’t figure out easily how to make this work, so I started a thread on the official Bitwig support forum (https://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=259&t=462739).

    I have a couple of answers, but it’s not getting clearer in my head:
    - On one hand, It seems that a script is needed, but I’m afraid it doesn’t exist yet and I’m not a coder;
    - On the other hand, it looks like there’s a way to assign a channel on each track but from what I’ve seen it does only concern Midi out, not in.

    Any idea how I should proceed here?

    I’m sorry cause the message is a bit confused, but it represents well my current state of mind about Bitwig + Zaquencer :)

    Thanks for your help!

    I´m afraid I cannot be of much help here, as I have 0 experience with bitwig. Any other guys?

    Edit: Ah it seems in the other thread that you were already able to solve this?

    Hi Christian,

    Thanks for your answer. The other thread helped me how to figure it out indeed : You need to use a controller script that activates the use of midi channels. This one is working great. The Bitwig website gives instructions for controller scripts installation.

    (Bonus : at the end of the KVR thread, a user called Tearing Riot kindly modified the script to clean it up with only 4 channels instead of 16.)
