Hello all and thanks to Christian and the Zaq team for this wonderful instrument.
I’ve just bought a good-state second hand BCR with Zaquencer firmware installed and overlay … The instrument seems to works good and I just would like to know how to be sure of wich firmware is installed on it .. on startup it says : 1.42 but it looks from the features available that’s it 1.04 version. Can I update the firmware to 1.5 and how to do it please ? Thanks a lot

Q: How can I get the license transferred when I want to buy/sell a used BCR+Zaquencer?
A: When buying/selling a used BCR+Zaquencer, a license transferral is important if the new owner needs to contact our support or to get updates from our website.
To get the license transferred we need a short email from the seller to support@zaqaudio.com about wanting to transfer the license, specifying his order number, order email, challenge and response codes and the “destination” email adress and name for the transferral. Please note that we only support transferring a license between users on the same device. You cannot sell your license of the Zaquencer firmware independent of the BCR.Ok, let me know how you go with contacting the seller.
Btw, 1.42 is actually 1.042. This was a naming inconsistency between whats shown on the LCD and how the version is called in the changelog. It has been unified again with the 1.5 update.

Wonderful instrument you designed ! … can make pure sample-adjustable-random frenzy with microgranny and 8 CC’s comand, never listen to sounds like that
