    Hi there,

I’ve had my zaquencer a while now and I love it. Just moved so not used it for a couple of months. Set up the studio and now am having problems with it sadly.

Drum Tracks have stopped working for me. All settings are correct having been through the checklists several times. The sequence plays but no midi data is output. The leds don’t even light to indicate data is being sent. Chord mode seems to work just fine and I don’t have any instruments or tracks muted or anything. All track modes set to drum. Correct midi port and channel too. I was tearing my hair out so I initialised settings which didn’t fix it, then refreshed the firmware with the latest version, but ominously the problem persists. The zaquencer does output a midi note when selecting the instrument note number in global mode though and triggers the drum machine to audition the sound in the expected way.

    Any ideas?

    Hi Odan,

one more question, when you switch to “mixer” mode, do the dots in the LCD light up (this also indicates note data being sent).

Before I start fishing in the dark, I´d like to ask you to export your global settings and patterns as Sysex and send them to support@zaqaudio.com

    Hi Christian,

Thanks for the quick response. The dots in the LCD do not light up in mixer mode.

I’ll get that sysex data to you later today.

Thanks for your help on this!
