Need help with Note Repeat

I’ve read (and think I understand) the manual. I’ve watched the youtube clip demo also.

I can’t get it to work. I’m trying to note repeat a drum instrument.

In the video, when the MIXER mode is on, the display shows the repeat rate.
On my zaquencer, the display shows dt4 instead.

Holding down NOTE REPEAT doesn’t do anything. When I’m holding it down and press the instrument or even the track button, it mutes that instrument/channel.

What am I missing?

The note repeat rate should be shown when you´re in mixer menu, hold down the note repeat button and turn an encoder at the same time (to adjust repeat rate). If you don´t turn the encoder, it will just show dt4 (or whatever track holds your first drumtrack).

Regarding the behaviour of your note repeat button, have you checked if the button itself is working correctly? Can you try if it works as “Page >” in Store/Load Menu (should advance the Page count).

The NOTE REPEAT button was dirty. Working it a bunch of times while it was in LOAD fixed it up.
