i had a thought: im not aware of how much room is left to add things to the interface, but couldnt you just make each button show 2 labels or more and by clicking the button you cycle between parameters, increasing the number of possible features and making usability sense too… all you would need is a 2nd gen overlay. this is of course assuming there is still space for features in the firmware eeprom. fill it i always say lol!
I do like the idea of switching to a new paramter by pressing a button (e.g. note pitch) twice.
The problem here is rather that the flash memory for the patterns is already full to the brim, and because of this there is not really a solution to adding per-step-paramters in the first place.DOH! my brilliant plan has been foiled!
