I think its probably because the Note Repeat button is shared with Tap Write, so if you were able to have both Mixer and Inst Select activated, you would be doing both Note Repeat and Tap Write if you used that button.
For long melodic sequences, for a bit of variation i like to briefly shift Seq Start say one or two steps towards the end of the sequence then put it back to 1 before the end so it loops normally again.
I cut the side sections off each part of my overlay and stuck them on separately, in order to have the best alignment for the encoders while avoiding issues with the buttons on the right.
My overlay sections are printed a bit too wide (encoder numbers need to be a shade closer together horizontally). No big deal tho.
I’d prefer additional rather than duplicated functionality here. i’ve got a little footswitch already but intend to have it on the desk as two extra buttons instead.
Hi, i’ve not yet installed the firmware and was wondering whether to hold off in case by doing so there might be a change coming which will allow all of my creations to be backed up.
I assume it’s right to say that any update which allowed backups would require existing pstterns to be lost in order to install it? Is there some other way of backing up patterns people use eg playing through some midi sequencing software on the computer?
