here’s a video of my Axoloti sequencer. I think the Zaquencer should be able to do this too..

As crazy as it sounds i’ve coded a SH-101 sequencer for Axoloti, not using any of it’s DSP capabilities. My plan is to make a video in the next few days using the zaquencer as midi note trigger and some decadent hardware for sounds to impress the haters.
yeah, this is nice. Now how about saving individual tracks in the same way, while playing.
i’ll make a request for that one...but if your working on a pattern with more than 8 steps and you hit load, it will restart the pattern at the first 8 step break.
if i messed up a nice pattern and i’m in “Load” menu, then i can simply hit the number of the active pattern to reload it, or not? This seems much more logical and safer (if everyone agrees that the pattern restart on 8 step breaks is logical which i don’t)
i understand the motivation, but it could become confusing to have a led on showing a note is active and not having it sounding due to the rest.
you could consider replacing the mute function for rests within the pitch menu, but coming from a playing-live standpoint its nice to be able to mute/unmute notes while the sequence is running and have them remember their pitch.
ah wait, you mean trigger the pattern changes externally and quantize them to say, full bars?
yes, but i’m more into playing it live..

hmm.. i’m starting to get a Genoqs feeling here. Lucky for me this cost me about a 10th of the Nemo.
How about including the globals in sysex dump? When using the Zaq in the studio i will be connecting it to different gear and some machines use fixed mappings.
I’m referring mainly to drummachines.It would be nice dump a full state of the machine.
hmm nice, maybe use the pushbuttons on top 8 encoders for mutegroups?
