    Hello shyha,

I don’t have a volca bass to try this but according to the volca bass midi implementation chart* you can use cc 5 to change the SLIDE TIME. Maybe that is what you are looking for?

So on the Zaq you just have to set MIDI Control Alpha or Beta to CC 5 and use it sequence the SLIDE TIME.

    Good Luck!

    Hello John,
“As of Version 1.5, the T RIGGER CC NR does not have a function assigned to it. The parameter will most likely be reused in a future version.”

You are almost right with the function of “Trigger enable”. You chose a MIDI channel where you will send all the controls for Zaquencer. Beware that a MIDI channel is not the same as a MIDI CCNr.

Then you send MIDI Messages trough the channel you chose with “Trigger enable” to MIDI CCNr 0 or 1 to load patterns.

MIDI CC messages are only from 0 to 127, so you send a message to CCNr 0 to load Patterns 0-127, or CCNr 1 to load Patterns 128-191.

So if you select channel 1 and then send CC message 2 on that channel to CCNr 0 Pattern 2 should load, if you want to change to Pattern 3 send CC message 3 to CCNr 0.

Check the Manual for the Midi Remote Command List

I hope it is clear, my English is not the best.

Are you sure the TR8 is not sending midi notes with the clock? did you try to filter everything that comes in Zaquencer? or try without midi input?

What I meant was that you have to go to the parameter you changed with WaveGen and change all steps back to how they were (one by one).

I think You could also use WaveGen with the rectangle wave, gain 0, step 1, and use the offset to choose a value. This will pull all steps on the value choosen.

I think you should tell them to print without margins (ie. the full size picture). Mine looks nice. Probably not as nice as the sticker but does its job while I save for one :)

    Hello,

I think you are missing the point a bit about WaveGen. It is used to generate a “wave” and write it in the desired parameter, this will update the steps in the parameter every time you hit the parameter button while pressing WAVEGEN. If you want to “turn it” off you have to edit the parameters you have changed or, as you already know, reload the track from memory.

Roland UA-25-EX works fine on Ubuntu with amidi.

How about just using an Euclidean Rhythm generator as another kind of wave for the WAVE GEN?

In the WAVE section we choose eucl.
GAIN chooses the value of the notes.
RATE is the number of pulses (Always a smaller/equal number than the Sequence Length).
OFFSET is offset as in here:

    http://www.groovemechanics.com/euclid/

The number of steps is the same as the Sequence Length.

This way we could easily use euclidean rhythms for everything that WAVE GEN can change.

I also have the same problem with my volca keys on output A. A high pitched note that fires by itself randomly and gets stuck. It happens sometimes (about 2 times every 6 hours of jamming).
