happiness is 2 Zaquencers and a whole rack of obsolete professional production gear! wouldnt you agree?
i agree that this is not my favorite part of zaquencer design. if mutes were not stored with the pattern, we can still make patterns with empty tracks for arrangement purposes.

nothing wrong with reading the manual
zaquencer is only a download, unless you want the factory sticker. you can print the same sticker yourself if you wish.
im not certain why it says ‘shipping’ on the product page, but i own 2 zaquencers and it was a download both times. perhaps to comply with new vat laws?

agree here. unfortunately the pedal inputs dont accept triggers.
BUT if we defined a list of steps with notes and then ‘stepped’ through the list with every new note entered into the zaquencer, it would be virtually the same thing. this allows for a rhythm juxtaposition onto your set of notes and they dont necessarily need to match up, sort of like a mayan calendar. it also occurs to me that maybe you could enter your notes into all steps of a pattern on the zaquencer, and then send that track a midi command to step to the next note in the list. that way it would be just another track mode and allow for much longer loop times when performed. of course this would require another sequencer to play zaquencer but i dont mind that detail. it could be done from the computer or anything like a drum machine or even a controlling keyboard.

yesss! and you could make an extra row of buttons wired into the push functionality of the stock first row. brilliant! i want to do this too.

…is a fully maxed out Ensoniq ASR-X PRO and a couple Zaquencers and some single cycle waveforms… actually that makes me wanna twerk. one of the only things that makes me wanna twerk. my fully speced emu e4xt ultra is one of the other things… its not in use quite yet however. but yea soon we shall ride together into the night! i may need another Zaquencer at some point in the future… am i crazy? *shrugs* wheres the shrugs smiley?
