I’v put the same question but there was not many responds. Maybe the name of this topic is not so good. As far as I know roland 185 sequencer works just like that. There is a multyswitch to define how long will one step last.
I know one think, I LOVE the result of almost every sequence you get from roland 185.June 7, 2015 at 9:31 am #2698Its great feature but Im sure the answer will be not enough memory for this one also.

November 15, 2014 at 4:36 pm #1444That sounds like a new project that can overtake Schrittmacher, MIDIbox SEQ V4, Metropolis, P3, Cirklon…
400e? ok
November 12, 2014 at 7:08 pm #1402in original bcr firmware the value of the potentiometer doesn’t change immediately when touched but it’s waiting for some nanosecond and then starts to change.
lock button is also nice idea.November 11, 2014 at 12:54 pm #1380Realtime LFO on parameters will do the same and more.
November 10, 2014 at 5:11 pm #1356nice
November 6, 2014 at 8:57 pm #1293Im not sure what is deliberate mode, but maybe also a random start position or random repeat (kind of ableton beat repeat, but midi)
Yes, I like random:)November 4, 2014 at 2:32 pm #1241Group edit works great, maybe only thing I need with that is skipped steps not to be affected with change.
November 4, 2014 at 2:06 pm #1240Sorry and thank you!
November 3, 2014 at 3:55 pm #1207same here
November 1, 2014 at 8:50 pm #1167Different projects are the main reason why I’v started this topic, cause I have complex projects where I have different settings for midi control parameters, also different clock, different track settings (chord/drum), scale…
November 1, 2014 at 4:18 pm #1161Im not sure if it can work like this, but if we can get more parameters per step and saving the global set. with pattern by reducing the pattern memory form 192 to something less (96 for example).
