Hi,
first. its a nice sequencer. i run at the moment the demo but i will buy the full version soon.Just want to test a bit.
A big whish, because there a not a lot of sequencers ( Midi sequencer) who have this feature. But in the Electronic / Berlin School scene it is very wanted.
Ratcheting means you have some more triggers on a step, that means a step sends 4 or 8 or any other amount of trigger pulses. This sounds like that 1 step is faster than the other ones.
here are some videos, i hope it explain it a bit better.
Here is a better explanation on how it works / ok with a cv gate seq. but just to get an idear.
It will be cool if you have time to implement this. i know a lot of people / artist from the EM scene who want this function.
If you have any question feel free to ask me, also in german im german
October 18, 2014 at 5:14 pm #771I’d love to see ratcheting added to a future update as well!
October 18, 2014 at 5:59 pm #773This is noted for future development.
Can´t say if it´ll be possible, because it would take up quite a lot of Flash memory as it would be a per-step setting and the Flash is already maxed out. But maybe I´ll get an idea.October 18, 2014 at 7:14 pm #778any how thanks for keeping it in mind.
i played now a lot with the sequencer. and i must say i got results i never got with other sequencers very funky very musicaly.
October 21, 2014 at 12:22 am #832Yes, I second that. Note repeat per step or “ratchet mode” would be nice.

October 21, 2014 at 11:48 am #863I´ll look into that, maybe I find some option for the forums.
Edit: Ok, something doesn´t work with the auto embedding in the forum. I´ve turned it off in the meantime, so that at least the links are visible.
October 21, 2014 at 5:26 pm #870I vote for ratcheting, too Very nice feature.
Nice work, btw I’m very satisfied with Zaquencer. Bought one for me, one for my friend.

October 22, 2014 at 10:46 am #903and here a cv gate clasical one, this result is what we need for a classic ratcheting but on midi ! http://youtu.be/rdT5ICHi3BA
Ratcheting in this way means, the sequence runs in a normal way and doesn’t stop at a step and last there for 1-8 Triggers, no it runs normal but when a ratcheting is at one step, the trigger fires 2-8 or more times but the sped of the sequence is the same, but this note will trihggered faster and make this ratchet.
