i sorta knew it, just didnt wanna say it. 192 patterns is a lot. maybe the number could be cut down in the name of implementing new things…

in the scenario above, the obvious bottleneck is that track 4 can only be set to 1 midi channel.
are you guys aware of the 2 ‘controller’ lanes per track that we already have? they can be cc, pitchbend or aftertouch. you can set any of the other tracks to the same midi channel and use their controller lanes on the same midi target. nice and versatile. can someone explain to me what this proposed mode will change?

ok USB flash rom! sounds more feasible. i wonder if the USB buss is powered from both sides in this instance. that would be essential.

yep i got the last one from guitar center, and 2 of the last from sweetwater sound. i would attempt to get new ones because of the fragile build.

deoxit worked on similar tact switches in my asr-x pro… might try that. otherwise you can probably replace them if need be. i imagine theyre surface mount, and as such wont be easy to replace. good luck.
i bought a total of 4 new BCR-2000s and returned 2 of them for faulty buttons

haha nice one! that sounds major. im personally glad its midi since i dont use cv gear but appreciate the concept. budget hardware midi sounds are not expensive or hard to find these days tho.
good news on the midi control focus. you can bet ill have a pedal board when that happens! not to mention theres probably tons of neglected midi foot switches out there on the used market.
try this company. not sure if they make midi to cv but i thought i saw something at one point
