and it works great! just dont try to use smdi with an internal scsi device… and disk capacity is limited to 2gb but its fat format and works beautifully with my computer!

i mostly use the note type of track and havent used the drum type much. but a lot of my stuff gets bounced down to my mpc or sampled.
i wasnt offering a contrary position, just making a suggestion about how it might be useful to someone.
this can be useful for slices of a loop inside a sampler for instance
how about some sort of acceleration with a faster turn?

i think shorter turning would be nice but a range? if shorter turn was added then range is not as important. i dont hate the turning now but agree it could be better.
