Hi Rene,
the “Scale” parameter should be set to “OFF” for the default value.
Then the “Scale Base” does not matter. For completeness sake, it´s default value is “C”.Cheers,
ChristianApril 25, 2017 at 12:54 pm #5733Hi Jeff,
sorry to hear about your mishap.
I don´t have any experience about liquid-based damage to the BCR. From what you describe, it sounds like the coffee did quite a number on it. Have you tried thoroughly drying the device? Putting in on a radiator for example.. I guess the same rules apply as for any other electronic device + liquid. It could have been damaged, but it could also be that you can fix it by removing/drying the liquid.Anyway, if you wish to transfer the license, we do have a process for this that involves deleting the license from your old device. Please write to support@zaqaudio.com with including your order number and challenge code for initiating this process.

ChristianApril 10, 2017 at 7:39 am #5689Hi Jeff,
have you made sure that Studio One is still sending the clock?
Can you confirm the green Midi In light blinking on the BCR upon clock reception? You can test if the option “Etl clock” is correctly set in the Global Menu, if the local Start/Stop button does not react anymore (Zaq is waiting for clock over Midi to start).
Cheers!
April 6, 2017 at 7:52 am #5679Hi Angel,
thanks for your question!
Please allow me to quote from our FAQ over here:
https://zaqaudio.com/forums/topic/sticky-faq-please-read-these-before-postingQ: What if my BCR2000 with an installed Zaquencer license should break? Can I transfer the license?
A: As a general rule, the Zaquencer license is bound to one BCR device.
Still, if your BCR with a Zaquencer license on it should break, please get in touch with our customer service at support@zaqaudio.com. We don´t want to leave our customers hanging, but we will evaluate every case on an individual basis and reserve the right for asking for proof and denying the support request.April 4, 2017 at 7:07 am #5672I´m not sure if that´s what´s going on with your BCR, but some machines have a hardware bug, which makes the knobs react unpredictably:
https://zaqaudio.com/forums/topic/sticky-hardware-issuesThere is a fix for it, but you need electronics knowledge:

thanks for your message.
The Zaquencer versions are self-contained, you only have to install the latest version 1.5.
I left the others up in case someone wishes to go back. The OS version shouldn´t matter.
Cheers!March 11, 2017 at 10:18 pm #5626Hi shyha,
I´ve just watched your video, one more question about it, do the notes overlap slightly in the vid? Maybe that might help? I mean to program the whole sequence with overlapping notes and then try to use CC5 to control the slide time for that step..?I´m afraid that implementing slide into the Zaquencer will not really be possible.
I think the time resolution between notes is not high enough to have a smooth transition of the pitch, even if I managed to put in some sort of pitch interpolation.March 11, 2017 at 9:57 pm #5625The regular download for the latest 1.5 version seems to be up again.
March 11, 2017 at 9:56 pm #5624PM sent.
March 4, 2017 at 1:24 pm #5601Wow, you’re right about the manual. Cant believe that this hasn’t come up before.
This is a mistake in the manual, as I guess from an older Zaquencer version.
Development started with the mode described in the manual (S for sharp), but I wasn’t happy about this, because the “S” is the same digit as a “5″. It was very confusing with the octave number, so I changed it to “b”. Have to change the manual for the next versionMarch 4, 2017 at 12:29 pm #5599Hi Dave,
this is the only mode of operation at the moment Im afraid.
There was no satisfactory symbol in the 7segment LCD for sharp notes so I chose to have it display flats only.Best,

ChristianFebruary 21, 2017 at 8:55 am #5577Hi Anthony,
those cheap Midi interfaces are hit and miss.
I´ve seen a couple where they weren´t able to transmit SysEx, and as such the Zaquencer firmware, properly. Your best bet would be trying out a different interface. Please see this list for confirmed working interfaces:
https://zaqaudio.com/forums/topic/midi-usb-interfaces-for-zaquencer-installationThe cheapest one that works reliably that I know of is the M-Audio USB Uno.
