im beginning to see that there really isnt much more room for some requested features to happen… perhaps you could let us in on the types of things that are possible?
i personally like it as is and any minor improvements are icing on the cake so to speak.
November 16, 2014 at 6:00 am #1451are you actually sending midi beat clock from your 909? make sure its not MTC! btw output has nothing to do with receiving synchronization…
November 16, 2014 at 12:15 am #1447all your previous tunes are gone! what happened? all these threads linking to your tunes that arent there…
November 14, 2014 at 4:04 pm #1435yeah i guess so. im also using a monophonic synth. guess i should expect that behavior.
November 14, 2014 at 4:08 am #1423try it, you cant mess it up by putting the wrong letter in
November 13, 2014 at 10:30 pm #1421Christian, is this possible? this is a big one for me
November 13, 2014 at 5:16 pm #1415oh well. not a super big deal.
btw im always having strange behavior when a note is longer than the one that comes right after it… it seems the first note continues after the second note is done.
November 12, 2014 at 6:12 pm #1400yeah i was thinking a similar thing… like maybe initially turn knob to display current setting, then second turn changes setting

hey, dejavu!
November 11, 2014 at 3:02 pm #1383midi volume control messages are what i had in mind. they wouldnt need to be per note, more like per channel since it would be a cc value. i understand that you can already do this but not as fast as would be useful and also you would need to use one step for on and one for off… in my suggestion, you would chose the gate time much like a note length, and whether it would repeat or not much like ratcheting.
November 11, 2014 at 2:58 pm #1382oh? i think i wouldnt mind a midi jack on my forehead
November 10, 2014 at 10:44 pm #1369you can already hold a button (1-16) and turn any knob to set all steps at once, effectively clearing all steps if you wish.
November 10, 2014 at 6:00 pm #1360no like a trance gate (for lack of a better term) its where you place a pattern of silence on a sound so it is then ‘gated’ in a musical way.
btw im not much of a trance fan but this would be useful to almost any style of electronic music
November 9, 2014 at 5:36 am #1331by ‘play’ i mean i want to push a key on my keyboard and trigger the sequence. also would be nice to tie start position to mod wheel etc.
