I only have 2 hours space on soundcloud, so I have to remove things now and then.
I use 2 and 4 bars a lot special for ambient chord track, I wish there where 8 bars also.
No, when a sequence is running and you want to change a pitch, I first mute the step, change pitch and unmuted the step so the pitch change is not heard while turning the encoder.

thinking about the subject, yes when programming deeper I could live with less patterns.
on the other hand the beauty of the zaquencer is his simplicity.-
