January 9, 2019 at 8:24 am #6599Hi Polillin,
welcome to the forums!
Sorry I must have missed your message bevore but it seems that you got your answers.
What you described is normal behaviour for the demo.
Enjoy your Zaquencer!

ChristianJanuary 9, 2019 at 8:21 am #6598Hi Ted,
welcome to the forums!
You can use multiple Zaquencers side by side, but you don´t get more steps, just more tracks (4 per Zaquencer). I think it´s best to treat them as independent devices in your mind.
Also yes, you need a separate license per BCR.If you need more steps, you can always use the “pattern chain” function in one Zaquencer. This will play patterns consecutively. Note that while in chain mode the patterns can not be edited/stored (they can, but a save would have to happen before the switch to the other pattern, which doesn´t really work in practice).

ah good to hear that you found the error.

December 18, 2018 at 8:51 am #6557Hi Daniel,
it sounds like the typical error for the BCR, but in a rather strong intensity.
Check out this page, where the author has found and corrected an error similar to yours:
http://ricardo-dias.com/2013/07/19/repairing-a-behringer-bcf2000/I have myself fixed a BCR following that procedure. The problem went away when I exchanged the LED Display like he wrote. Since then I heard a few reports where changing the display did not fix the problem. The author gives more information about the transistors that are used to scan the rows of buttons as well though. Maybe that helps then.
Good luck with the repair!

October 11, 2018 at 8:12 am #6499Hello,
sorry for the late reply.
It´s only possible to store one pattern chain with the Globel Menu Parameters.
Cheers!September 14, 2018 at 9:23 pm #6466Hi Vincent, thank you for your message! You must set the midi channel for the remote in the global settings with encoder „trigger enable“. Please see the manual page 22. Let me know if this helps or if you have any other questions.
September 6, 2018 at 7:47 am #6453Hi Bertrand,
thanks for your message!
Unfortunately there is only the realtime recording function and no way to make the Zaquencer wait for the next note.Best,
ChristianJuly 22, 2018 at 9:05 am #6324Hi Andy,
yes this works!
Please look into the “trigger enable” function, P.22 in the manual:
https://zaqaudio.com/files/Zaquencer-Instruction%20Manual_1_5.pdfAll the commands can then be found on P.36.
You´d need PatternLoad A/B and maybe the “noMutes” versions if you don´t wat to change the muting of the tracks when loading a pattern.Hope this helps, let me know if you have more questions.
July 10, 2018 at 8:26 am #6315There is a workaround (manually send “all notes off” message) that I´ve already posted over at this thread:
https://zaqaudio.com/forums/topic/high-pitched-noise/page/3/#post-6138Hope this helps!
June 16, 2018 at 9:13 am #6291Alright… so, would a CC message also be possible, or does it have to be SysEx?
If CC is possible, hae you looked into the Midi remote functionality? (Manual P.22 and P.36/37). Maybe you can find a message there that doesn´t trigger any undesired changes in the Zaquencer (like “Reset” maybe?) but still helps you with your idea? All these would be consumed by the Zaquencer and not passed to the output (if you chose “filtered through” in the Global menu).- This reply was modified 6 years, 6 months ago by Christian.
June 14, 2018 at 8:09 am #6283Hi Drew,
what do you mean exactly by “will be recognized, but won’t make any changes”?
Every Midi message will be processed, but if it´s not meant for the Zaquencer it´ll be passed to the through.
Can you elaborate further?Cheers!
